NZ Job Expo

Well guys.
Seen as we still have no job offer we are going to go to hte NZ Job Expo in Welli tomorrow- see who's there and see if we have any better luck dealing direct with companies rather than the recruitment agencies who don't seem to be doing much for us.

Will let you know how we get on.

Now that I would like to see Neil a house Husband
As for me getting a job- doubt it very much- my highest quals are my A-levels and my work experience is a bar maid, a Pharmacy assistant (i did this for about 8 years and nothing to show for it) and ran my own business for 2 years as company director of online lingerie store and doubt any of this will get me a job good enough to get residency or pay any where near what Niel can earn.

We ended up not going after Neil had had that email from Alcatel- he decided to go look at motorbikes instead- he will be getting on for commuting into Welli. Still had a day out in Welli though.

Hi Beth
We just enjoyed the time out together and older kids never want to go to job fairs
I found it useful, on much smaller scale than UK job fairs and EXPO for moving to New Zealand
Was nice as you had more time to speak to all the exibitors
So guess we wont see Neil on the train commuting to Wellington
