Default Anyone in the New Zealand Navy?
I was just wondering if anyone else has transferred from the RN to the RNNZ? Or is anyone currently serving in The RNNZ? It would be really good to know your experiences of the process. Looking forward to hearing from you.

We've had the odd post or two in the past about the NZ army and air force but can't find anything on the navy. Let's hope your post comes up trumps and brings forth a matelot or two.

While I was digging around looking for previous threads on the navy I unearthed this old news article . Looks like your guy is in demand.

Thank you for that Mother Bear, the RNZN have been advertising in the Navy News for a couple of years now for Naval personnel to apply. I just think its the whole process that puts many off! As the RNZN can not get involved in the immigration process, also the initial costs!

My husband was quite fortunate in 2004 to do an exchange for 6 months with the RNZN and we were fortunate to be able to go to NZ twice in that time, visiting both the North and South Islands. So we have some advantage. Its just the waiting now, but I suppose we have waited all this time another year or so will be a breeze.
