Thanks guys.

Well they are happy with his CV and references and have been speaking to the Telecom guys who interviewed him so this meeting will be more of a 'putting name to face' meeting. I'm sure they will have some questions for him but hoping it is pretty much in the bag. Don't want to get too excited til we have an offer in writing though hen we can get things moving and really begin our life in NZ.

Will keep you posted... watch this space.

well not really any closer at all. Alcatel still won't take him on until ban is lifted and until they know what projects they have coming up.

Apparently Neil is top of their list when something does come up- they said could be next couple of days or could not.

So it's back to the drawing board and dishing out the CV's- waiting long enough now- money starting to dissapear so have to look for alternative and if Telecom/Alcatel come up with an offer before he gets something else then that would be great but can't wait forever.

Don't worry, you'll be fine. We have same situation right now, money nearly ran out but I still in job hunting. But Neil got so many interviews for those execllent jobs, so take it easy. Hope I can get more interviews. anyway, good luck
