Yes Cliff- he is in IT Project Management.

Anyway- a slight update on the situation.
Telecom guy has emailed Neil today- Alcatel are interested in him and have seen his CV. We know have to arrange a convenient time for them to get a phone reference from the UK but all sounds quite promising- still a little reluctant to get excited yet though.

That is exactly what I used to do. My last contract was as a PM for IBM. There is a high demand for PM roles right now. The new financial year has just started and proejcts are starting. Telecom is big but Alcatel might be better. If he has Telecom or voip experience he won't have an issue at all.

Sorry he has to do so many interviews such is the way of telecom. Once he gets in he will meet other pm's in NZ (small world here).

Finally a little progression.

Alcatel phoned Neil this afternoon- thye pretty happy with everything and just want to see him for an informal interveiw/chat over a coffee. Should be arranging something for early next week so who knows- good have a job offer by the end of the week- really hoping so.
