Well the interveiw yesterday went Ok- was just prelimenary interveiws thoguh so they can shortlist for a panel interveiw- hopefully hear something next week about that.

As for Telecom job Taffy it is a specific role that is available as the guy has just left so that might help with persuading HR to allow a job offer. One if the guys that interveiwed him is quite Senior and he's pushing HR too.

In the meantime he is still applying and having interveiws etc and if he gets ajob offer elsewhere he will let Telecom know to give them anther push as he is keen to get onboard with them.

Just a case of wait and see.

Neil has been told that the people he saw on Thursday want to see him for a panel interveiw- they haven't arranged a date yet but hopefully it won't be too long.

Update on the Telecom situation:

Phone call today to let Neil know there is still a freeze on recruitment , however the department Neil would be working for works with Alcatel in the same offices soooo....... he is going to pass Neil's CV and speak to the guys at Alcatel to see if they will take him on- he would be doing exactly the same job but just be employed by Alcatel instead of Telecom.

As for the freeze- it could get lifted at some reveiw they are doing in 3 weeks time.

Still lots of waiting to do me thinks.

Alactel will be the better option. telecom has some issues to be resolved. Could be bad for a newbie.
