Hi all,

We left the UK in November and settled in Tauranga in December. My OH found a job in Rotorua and started work after Christmas and I just found a job recently and started last Monday. Am now using the Easter weekend to recover after having to get up early all week...such a shock to the system after 5 months of lie-ins!!!

I have a job offer in Chch hospital to start in October - we received our ITA at the end of January. Just waiting for the medicals next Saturday and then I will submit our ITA. House has sold (just waiting for the survey & contracts to be exchanged). The buyer has agreed to wait until we are ready to leave in September. Flights are booked, once contracts exchanged we will book shippers (both house & dogs) then just wait.

We have house on the market with a number of interested parties for it none of whom have sold theirs so waiting for one of them to do so. My medical is booked for next Thursday but not looking forward to it cos i know I'll have problems with BMI and as hubby is a kiwi probably looking for a waiver which will take a while. Organised my retirement package from work which means i will be leaving them at the latest end of August 2008 and looking to be in Whakatane, BoP in September.

Once again, we are delaying. We have our blue stickers, and plan to go over for a job hunt and reality check. But instead of being there right now, we're waiting a few more months. The economy in NZ seems to mirror that of the US, which is now in a recession. We figure that if there aren't many jobs here, there'll be fewer in NZ. We need to be sure of other issues, too. But even if we don't make the move, we plan to go over and harass a few M2NZers before too much longer.
