"applying for residency to be with my kiwi boyfriend"

well the good news, is that my medical was ok and i have been "deemed to meet the acceptable standard of health" woo hoo , so i dont need to be passed to nz medical assessor

but (there is always a but) we now have to obtain a police certificate from australia, because dan workd and lived in australia for a while. I have been given a month to organise this, has anyone had to obtain an australian police certificate and have an idea of how quick(or not) they are?? also says something about getting fingerprints, how does that work??

trying to patient but jeez its hard!!!

hiya
because he worked and lived in australia for 3 years , so as my sponsor we have to provide a police certificate from Oz. argh the frustration, i know it will be fine but its the waiting , that will be another month at least, we have been apart 6 months now and its drving us both nuts, but hey we will percevere.
