They say that the UK is the 3rd most expensive country in the world to live in to an international standard. Australia came 7th and NZ 12th.

Mark, it looks like you may have to complete the 3 years or even extend beyond that if the immi officer assessing your business thinks you need a bit longer to establish your business. This is the relevant guide that sets it all out. It keeps referring to the 3 years so I guess that's how long it takes. Looks like they monitor you for 5 years, too, if I've read it right.
