Cool me again... with a question about migrant levy!!

Gill in Scotland here yet again

I have sent of my application, done and dusted and now reading over a few things i have read something in a different light. I have assumed that the application and migrant levy is the same thing , but it doesnt look like it is. I haven't given any details of this in my application.Am i right that i also have to pay this?? Should i ring immigration and tell them? How much do i pay under the partnership policy?
Oh why, Oh why did i not pay an immigration company to do all this for me???

Thanks in advance
Gill

Calm down, Gill. all is not lost . The migrant levy is only paid after you've had a successful result from INZ. It's about 300 NZ$ per successful applicant and you have a few months to pay it once you've been accepted. You won't get your blue PR stickers in your passport until you pay it though.

Page 5 on here tells you how much you pay and if you look on here you'll see when you need to pay it. It's the last fee you pay .

Not sure if this helps but we are going through the skilled migrant category. Submission of EOI was $400 (?160 approx), submitting ITA will be ?685 & then Migrant levy will be ?115 per person up to 4 people. May be different for different categories.

Technically the migrant levy is to help in research in immigration etc.....just another source of revenue really:))
Unless you pay the levy, you won't get the stickers...
