I am sooo p****d off!

He has said he will try to talk to his mum - they have always been close. But he said if she starts to become negative he will stop the conversation. However I don't know when that will be. He has told me not to do anything about turning down my job and to keep things going - except submit the EOI. I didn't plan to do this until after Xmas anyway so things may still go ahead. I do hope so.

I wish him all the very best for his chat with his mum. We older sorts can dig our heels in and resent change of any kind, so he'll need a fair bit of luck to break even with her.

I just hope I can compete with his mum. I used to come first when we first met and have done since. I have to keep reminding him that I am more important than she is now.

What is it with boys and their mums eh or mums and their boys? If Charlie ever starts to show such tendencies I'll be givin im a good slap and tellin im to sort imself out and if it's me makin things hard for him I hope Gary gives me a slap and tells me to get a grip.
