Thanks Mother Bear - yes we are very happy and settled. We are living in a small town called Whakatane which is very beautiful. Hubby has a job, I've been doing a little bit of relief work in the Kindergartens and our two boys have settled brilliantly into their school. We love living on the coast, 5 mins away from Ohope beach, 2 mins down the hill to the wharf - fab. A long way from where we lived in the northwest of England with all the industrial pollution!
I am enjoying catching up with what everyone is doing on the forum, this is where we got lots of support and info before we came out here - many thanks for that.

Everything seems to be going well for you Jan and you've settled really well.

I guess a few things have changed on here since you were on last. In fact, we had a whole new forum as this one is more secure. I don't know if you've noticed we have a radio station on here with 24/7 music so you can bop while you catch up on all the posts. It's a pity you've missed the weekly radio show with Dawn and Taffy - that's had to be shelved for the time being because of difficulties with matching up the differing time zones around the world now the clocks have changed. The show wasn't for the faint-hearted , but has become a bit of a cult thing with a dedicated band of followers, which reminds me, where's Dawn gone? She disappeared along with her show. Guess she's busy being a new kiwi and embedding herself in her new life.
