What, no radio???

Well, it's reaching the witching hour and no sign of our hostess or demi god in the Radio Room, so I guess that means there's no show today. I wasn't sure after what WG said and went racing around doing everything so it'd leave my afternoon free for the merriment. Now I'm sitting here with my sandwich poised (usually munched through the show), wondering whether I could have taken things a little more easily.

KH, I may well be wrong..but isn't the gewurt the ceppage and Alsace in France?(Actually I know that the Alsations are originally independant) Totally agree about Chablis unless you can find a smaller vineyard doing independant stuff, prefer Viognier myself, does that go with turkey?

And I missed it - well, the sound element, anyway.

Curses to Omantel and their shonky Internet connection . May all their camels go lame and their houses fill with sand. No, that's not fair on the poor camels - I retract that. The last show, for me, by the sounds of it, and I had to miss it.

And where was Kokopeli and his promised song? Not that I'd have heard it, of course, with my radio not working, but would have been good to hear about it. Another talented forumite? This forum is stuffed with talent if we only knew it.

And why did Hatter scarper after only a few minutes in the Radio Room? We must be more scary than I originally thought.

There are a lot of peeps on the site tonight. We may all be missing something ... has it been agreed that the radio show will be on tomorrow morning?

Wouldn't like to bank on it, Glenda. WG is starting her journey back to the UK tomorrow, so I guess Taffy will be otherwise occupied with airport runs etc. But I may be wrong - 't wouldn't be the first time and certainly won't be the last .

There's been no announcement on here to remind folks to tune in tomorrow. Personally, I'm glad it's not on today as my Net connection has decided to play up again big time so it would have been a waste of time for me, like last week. Major frustration.

It's going to leave a big gap in our weekly entertainment though . What can we do instead? I know...... I spy with my little eye..... .

It's a pity they couldn't tape one of their previous shows and put in on ... pretty sure there are many who missed one or two.

Even if there had been no change in the time, I doubt Taffy would have done a show today as he's bound to be spending some quality time with WG before she jets off . Not seen him around the forum at all today.

Yes, pity he hasn't got to grips with recording the shows. I'm sure they would be just as entertaining second time around and I might be able to make more sense of them if I could only hear them again.
