Default We've Arrived!


Well, about 27 hours ago we stepped off our third plane of the day and arrived in Christchurch.

I have to tell you, if the rest of my experience here is like the first 24 hours, I'm never leaving!

Customs and security were a breeze, with everyone being so helpful (which was the exact opposite of the US). Nigel from the hotel drove right over to pick us up, and our room was ready for us--even though it was only 9:00am! One of my OH's on-line friends stopped by (while I was passed out on the bed and not stirring at all) with some toys and snacks and a bottle of bubbly!

There's so much to tell, but it'll have to wait until I have a little more time. I'm in Nettopia right now at Cathedral Square while Debi is wrangling the boys at the nearby library, and I think she probably needs some rescuing.

More ... much more ... later! But I am *sooo* happy right now!

BTW, we are at the Central Park Motor Lodge on Riccarton if anyone wants to ring us up!
