You really must head over to akaroa. You are welcome to stay here on the way, we are halfway between Christchurch and little river. Our house is small but we have a caravan point to plug into. And you could also give us your appraisal on the place as a campsite as that is what we hope to turn it into very shortly.

Thanks Moggy, would get to see that little tractor in the flesh!! Drop us a PM with your contact and we'll get in touch xxx Have been meaning to ask you what your house is like now the temps dropping. I remember you saying that you didn't need any heating with the sun on the place all day. Any change now?

It is still fairly warm, it heats up a lot during the day, it can even been 25 when we come home when outside it is 14.
The last three nights have been cold though, but I still haven't put the winter duvet on yet, but we do need the log burner lit in the evenings and it is a little chill in the morning when we get up, but no more so that it was in the UK in winter.
