    Smile What a Day ...

It's been a looonnnnngggg three weeks since my interview. I've been gone from the forums pretty much the whole time because, frankly, I've been walking around feeling like I was punched in the gut. I really felt like I blew it and when I didn't hear anything for 2 days ... then a week ... then longer, I had given up all hope.

We had gone through with listing our house, knowing that no matter NZIS's decision, we were leaving the state--most likely bound for some place a little more affordable to regroup for a couple of years.

Then today, a friend of mine found out she got her dream job. We joked, "Wow ... 6/6/07 ... 667 must be the number of the anit-Beast!" About two hours later, my wife called me to tell me we came to a sale agreement with buyers for our house ... then, when I got home from work I checked my e-mail ... and found a message from NZIS ...

They are ready to process my visa, but my Visa credit card was rejected! Damn fraud protection gets me every time!

So IT LOOKS LIKE WE ARE NZ BOUND!

Of course, the buyers want to close on July 9th, so that leaves us a little over a month to ... OMG, I don't even want to think about everything that needs to be done, but who cares!

    Thank you all!

Yeah, Dawn, so much for my plan of having a year without a winter ... oh well! It just means that we'll miss the worst of the heat here in the US and trade it for the worst of the winter in NZ--which really is still a pretty good trade IMHO!

    CONGRATULATIONS!!

That's wonderful news for you and your family! My little green monster is trying to rear it's ugly head... He's harmless though!

Sounds like quite a few of us will be arriving in July, some to stay, some for a brief visit...

Watch out WG and Taffy, looks like this could turn into a three day party...
