There ya go KH. The song should play for you shortly, if not you can request it and it will play within a minute or two.

80's KH? 80's? Surely that's the era that music forgot?? Has to be 70's I'm afraid. Real music, real musicians, real writers who still used a pencil and sheet music instead of pressing a button on a synthesiser!! You're probably gonna come back to me with all sorts of out of the box examples now aren't you? Come on, I love musical debates!!

WG, can we have Prince Live 4 Love, it's a long track though bout 7 mins so you might want to fade it out or something. It was one of our most successful performance pieces with my dancers, it incorporated a film about world poverty and capitalist greed and contrasted the two in images and finished with the message 'Young people of the world unit and Live 4 Love', the dance included everything from ballet to hip hop, and a breakdance section in UV light. It was so cool!! From then on our motto has been Live 4 Love!

By the way you can take a quick look on myspace/elements if you want to see it. There's a youtube. I don't think the films on there and some of the dance is a bit dark but you still get the gist!!!

We need a funky, hip hop dancing smiley. Or more appropriately for Ricky a smouldering Latin one, you wanna see me and Poppy dancing round here 8.57 a.m.

Oh, you must be talking about Starland Vocal Band ... or maybe Abba? Or is it the Bee Gees ... I'm *sooo* confused!

Haven't heard of Starland Vocal Band KH but EVERYONE but EVERYONE has to have at least one Abba and one BeeGees album in their collection, it's the rules. Even if you only put them on during drunken parties for everyone to sing along to, its the rules man! Same as T Rex, Bay City Rollers, Queen and Status Quo!

My true appetite runs much deeper than this of course. And don't forget I am a hippie at heart and I actually love a lot of that West Coast sound!!

I'm thinking Elvis Costello, REM, Peter Gabriel - but then I can just put on a CD for them. Have you heard any of the new swing bands, like The Squirrel Nut Zippers and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy? Pink martini is fun, too - kind of modern lounge music.

I haven't heard very many songs, yet, so have no idea what kind of a mix you have. Was getting into the 60's/70s groove with some Eric Clampton & someone else, and then jumped forward to some rap (but "nice" rap, it seems).

Good stuff

I've got a few of them, any particular song(s) you'd like?

I think there's one REM song on there and one Elvis Costello but again, if there's any other songs by them that'd you'd like, give me a shout and I'll have a root through my collection
