Default The Coast to Coast Race
Has anyone on the forum ever been mad, bad or fit enough to 'do' the Speight's Coast to Coast Race? I'm thinking of having a go next year, but could do with a few pointers.

Could be a cycle race, of course.

Still involves a decent degree of fitness though. Does that sound like us? I suspect not.

Hope you can find someone who can point you in the right direction. *slopes off guiltily, wondering whether making a bacon sandwich constitutes 'exercise'. It's quite a long way to the kitchen, you know (walking), and that frying pan is pretty heavy (weightlifting) .*

Hey, I only said I was 'thinking of having a go'!!!!!

It involves running, biking and kayaking from the Kamara on the West Coast to Sumner, just outside Christchurch. Now I've typed that, I think I've changed my mind
