HI ya!

Maybe you are moving/just moved to Christchurch, or maybe you are just wanting to make some new friends?

I am 28 years old, my boyfriend is 31, (been together 6 years! Both kiwis) just seeing if there are any other females or couples out there that just want a friend to chat with, go for a cuppa, dinner, movies or clubbing.

I work at a real estate company in administration, love meeting new people (have met a few online now! From , UK, Poland, USA, Australia), fave music ? 80?s, Robbie Williams, Madonna, U2, Jack Johnson, dance, like travelling, (went on a roadtrip in USA for 4 weeks), lived in Canada for a year, cooking, watching rugby, going out for coffee, movies.

While living in Canada I had only couple of friends, and found it really tough & lonely being in a new city, so I thought I would come on here and see if anyone is in the same boat as I was there and looking for a new friend ? (different when you are at school you always meet new people) ? I came on here to meet up with people and if we have similar interests I look forward to a great friendship!

I don't think we have that many people down in Christchurch who still post on here now, but you never know, perhaps some of them still look in on us from time to time.

Hey there, thanks for the welcome.

We lived in Vancouver Kitsilano for 4 months, then did 4 week roadtrip around the USA went to I think 18 states, then Toronto near Chinatown for 4 months.

Went to Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Wyoming.
Also been to New York twice, once in 2000 and again for Madonna concert in umm 2004 I think! Also been to few other places.

I have been living in Christchurch for almost 3 months. Lived here for 3 years before moving back to Whangarei. Have now moved back down here as I love it here. I don't know many people and would like to know some more.

Hi everybody, and cough cough to the north islanders !!!!!

We have been here in Chch for about 12 weeks now and sort of setting in struggling to make friends but we do live in a mainly student/young people area, got a 2 year old daughter so that limits us on the bowlling, movies or pubs/ clubs situation, Chch seems to be a close knit city or is it just city life in general where everybody is so busy ?
