Default Interview--Waited, Waited, but No Call!
Took a couple hours off from work this morning, waiting for an interview call from NZIS in London that was supposed to happen a little over an hour ago ... but still no call!

Argh!

Has anyone else had this experience? Any advice? (I already sent a politely worded e-mail expressing my concern.)

That's a bummer KH.

It's bad enough when you're at home anyway waiting around, but to take time off work especially for the interview and then be let down is pretty bad. It's wear and tear on your nerves as well when you're all keyed up and ready to perform.

Hope they've got a good excuse when you finally hear from them .

Got a reply to the e-mail while I was at work. "Sorry ... blah blah ... co-worker suddenly fell ill ... away from desk all day ... blah blah."

I'm pretty much over being PO'ed, and really there's nothing to be done but reschedule. :shrug:

They should have got their act together though and let you know prior to your appointment or at least as soon as they knew. I bet they wouldn't have been so impressed had it been you making an excuse for not keeping your part of the arrangement!

but not quite as bad as being totaly forgotten
when we had our interview,they phoned an hour and a half late and although very very sorry, we had the interview but i think they would rather done it at another time.
the reason for the late call " had the wrong page open in her diary"
well this is the first post from me since meltdown but i have been reading up and still finding the site great .i wont hyjack kh thread but will fill in our progress soon
