Taffy - when's the chat room coming back?

I've made this a sticky so that folks know where to find it if they want to click on the link here instead of going to the Homepage. It also contains the important reminder to register first.

You can't wait too patiently as it boots you off after half an hour. ? :-/ ?

Would mention to folks who aren't conversant with chat rooms, it can appear that someone is in Chat but when you enter there's no one there. ?That's because someone who was previously in there still registers as being in there for a short while afterwards, so it's no good shouting 'Coooooeeeeee! Come out wherever you are' because they won't hear you. ? Quite a while afterwards so it seems as I'm still showing after 10 mins. Perhaps it was because I was booted off instead of logging off?

Would it be possible to have a Chat button at the top of the main menu to save having to wander around looking for the link? ?A Chat button linking to the log in screen would be good. ?Can't remember if we had one on the old forum, but have a feeling we did or was it just the Chat Indicator?

Well, I've been in there sat sitting this last 15 mins. and you're not answering me. Have you got your sound turned off again? :D We only get half an hour then we get bumped off or have to log in again so pull your digit out. ;D

Ok, chat indicator is now on the forum home page with the other stats (near bottom of the page), which shows how many members are in the chat room, and a list of who's in there right now. Clicking on the number will take you to the chat login page.

Nice one. Can't get any plainer than that.
