Spring Meet

Just being curious (OK then, nosey ?;D), but what's happening with the Welcome to Spring meet-up that was being discussed before Armageddon? ?I was going to bump it up to the top again to remind everyone about it, but can't seem to find it now. ?Possibly another casualty in the forum changeover? ?I've said it before and I'll say it again now, this forum's search facility is cr@p. ?It can't find things I know are here, despite trying all ways to bring them up. ?>:(

Also was wondering what was happening with the 'MovetoNZ moving out of the square' thing. ?A few things have got lost and forgotten lately with all the drama of setting up the new forum. ?Just thought I'd ask. ? :-? ?

When using the search facility, make sure you choose the time frame you want to look in. The default is the last 5 days, so if searching for older stuff you wont find anything.

Dont know whats happened to those posts though, quite possibly a casualty!

The moving out of the square thing died a death anyway, no one really seemed that keen on it.

Spring meet is still going ahead though, if anyone is still interested that is!

I guess some kind of details wouldn't go amiss in helping people decide if they want to/can attend. They would need to know how to go about 'booking' up for it, too. ?

It's all a bit airy-fairy at the moment. ?Nothing for anyone to get their teeth into.

And yes, I've been selecting the correct time-frame thing on Search, but it hasn't made any difference. ?Previously I could stick in a word and a list of stuff would come up. ?Now I get very little of any use, although I know the posts I want are on there, somewhere. ?Quite a blow to my 'cred' as Mrs. Helpful, as I used the facility quite a lot and 9/10 I could rely on getting what I wanted from there.

Yes we are still very interested and some details would be much appreciated but I do realise that it is still quite cold and rainy all the time here, so waiting for weather to improve is probably a good thing!?

We're still up for it - would be good to have a weekend away - think we are free most weekends this side of Christmas - then no free weekends til mid April - got both sets of parents coming out for weeks at a time - ?;D

I'm sure she would if you would only part with some details of when, where, what, so that everyone knows what they're aiming towards. Can't make plans if you're not giving dates etc. [smiley=Tut_tut.gif]

Or is it going to be one of those 'Mystery Trips' where no one knows where they're going until they get there? :D

Waiting for some good news on the weather really! Although the nice weather is trying to break through, the weekends have been a bit cloudy and cold. Just keep a look out!!

Perhaps it would be a good idea to gather ideas for venue, food arrangements etc. now, so that when it looks like a good weekend's coming up, you'll all be ready to pounce.

No good having a lovely weekend and you use it all up trying to agree on where to go and what to do. ?
