    Default CV vs. resume

Can someone offer me some insight into how to prepare a CV for NZ employment?

I think I have the basics of the CV down, but from an American perspective. Is the NZ-style CV much different? Any CV tips successful job-seekers can provide would be greatly appreiciated, as since my wife and I both will need to begin putting them together.

BTW, my EoI should be done in time for the next fortnightly selection. :)

Thanks MB! Those look really helpful.

It's going to be strange going from a 1 page resume to a 3 page CV ... I'll have to dust off my old planners so I can find dates to fill out some of those workshops, etc.

BTW, the EoI is mostly done ... I'm just waiting on NZQA's preliminary assessment of my degrees and the boys' passports so I can fill in their passport numbers. Both should be arriving within the next couple of days ... I hope!

hi There, you may want to list your skills/knowledge on the front page. Then indicate your length of experience in years and rate your skills/knowledge on a scale of 1-10.

    Just a suggestion.
