House sold! family almost on their way
Just a wee update on my situation.
In the last week my wife has sold the house, booked the movers (Whites) organised the vet etc for our cat to come over and is now looking forward to being a family again. I have been in Auckland since 2 Feb so as you can imagine I am really excited at the prospect of us being a family unit again. Our daughter has finished with school in the UK now and will have a while off yet after they arrive here. I have been working for a month or so now and also got residence approved in principal. Passports and 900 bucks have been sent in so I hope to have them back in a couple of weeks as I have to send my wife and daughters back to them in the UK. It is looking like we will rent for the short term as it appears that the market is about to drop so hopefully a bargain may come our way. I am keen to go to the Half Moon Bay, Farm Cove and Bucklands Beach area now as it is near to work and from what I have seen is a lovely looking area. ( and close to the water for when the boat arrives...Ahem!!) Anyway thats my news I will post again when things have moved on. See Ya Bruce | |||

Hope the job is going well and you can find a rental within striking distance. It must be a comfort to your family to know that you have everything lined up ready for them to arrive.

Nice one Bruce! Don't know how you've coped being apart for so long - that would be my undoing I'm sure.
