Holiday stop over...

I cant explain how I'm feeling at the moment, it feels like we're in this little bubble and at some point someone is going to burst it and we're going to drop back to reality!!

I will feel so much happier once the flights are booked and we know our date. I cant believe after all my moans and groans last week it's all turned around [smiley=icon_biggrin.gif]

Hows your plans going as you mentioned you moved your leaving date back is that right??

Didn't move date but realised would have been cheaper if we went with Air Malaysia later. we getting there. think might have buyer for car. might have someone for one dog. got boxes everywhere. counting down days left at work. it just gets worse every day.

we now have 6 wks and two days and don't really feel much further on than afer we booked flights. sure it will all be done in time tho.

we felt numb at first when we realised we were going but then when it sunk in the exccitment kicked in.

let us know when u have ur dates.

We're going to put our car on eBay over the next few weeks, we couldnt believe the price for the car we have, it's double what we had budgeted for! We were planning on advertsising in the free papers etc.

Do you know the people who might be taking your dog? It's such a hard thing to do but it is better for them rather than taking them to the otherside of the world. I check the website everyday for Boxer Welfare where we rehomed our puppy too incase there's an update - still miss the wee pooch, what I'd do right night for a big hug and sloppy kiss from him [smiley=icon_cry.gif]

I cant wait till I can tell my work of my last day, they've known since Feb about our plans. All going well I plan to finish up work on the 21st July. I'll be gutted if I have to work on later.

As I said elsewhere about 5 mins ago my parents taking the little one. a guy that volunteers for me and has a great outdoorsy lifestyle will take the other. so hard. they are both rescue and tat adds to the guilt. gotta remember that they having a good life and they might not be alive if we hadn't rescued them.
ebay good idea for car. we looked at advertising in paper too.
its a fab feeling telling work ur off. we have both written a count down in the diary. i have 12 days left and mike has bout 18 when u take into account holiday and lieu time.
