I forgot about that actually, we had to use our own towels a lot of the time which wasnt the best. Especially when they got to the stage where you had to wash them and no one seems to know what you mean when you ask for a Laundrette, in NZ they're called laundro-mat (or something like that).

I got quite a few funny stairs when I was asking where I'd find a laundrette, eventually found one on the campsite we stayed in on the beach. There weren't many in the towns.

There certainly are not many laundrette/laundro-mats about - guess if you haven't a washing machine here, it is a case of do it in the kitchen sink or bath. Fortunately, most motels/campsites have a laundry room with a machine you put money in and buy powder from reception.
