Default Its starting ! we are going..

Hi everyone
Just to let you knwo the fantastic news!
We have sold and complete our house sale tommorrow.
We've bought our tickets and set the itinery.
We spent time travelling and then arrive AUCKLAND on 10th December 2006

Our luggage was collected for storage yesterday to arrive when in NZ when we need it.
Got a company in Dunedin helping us when we get there to hopefully start our business and we are really excitied about getting there.
But after the last three months of hectic planning and nerves selling and letting property we need a good break before getting there.

Its like someone should pinch me as I cannot believe that its at last all starting to happen.
I will keep contact whilst we travel through various stop offs in Maldives/Jap/Guam/Philipine/China/Vietnam/Thailand and Australia before eventually reaching New Zealand and thanks again to all for making it worthwhile and keeping all in the loop of information.

Congratulations on the house sale, Macfod. When are you actually leaving the UK? Fantastic itinerary, visiting all those countries. I envy you. Should be a great experience.

Default soon

Hi Yes, well we leave first stop Dubai to say bye to the kids in Dubai and AbU Dhabi on 24th - yes next week!
We purchased a round the world ticket and dont plan to use the return flight next May but it was a much cheaper way of getting to where we wanted.
At least we'l have lots of thinking and planning time whilst back packing for the next six months..And we are counting the hours till we go next week with me picking Christine up from work at 4pm as she says bye to her company and then straight to Gatwick for our flights.

But, near to our favorite pub by the river..yippeeeeeeeee

Still trying to sort money out as HSBC now appear naff and not too helpful at opening our account in Auckland.
