Default Any dental technicians out there?
Hi there, my name is Steve and a friend of mine who is also a dental technician is thinking about trying to move to NZ. Is there anyone either in NZ or UK who knows wage rates and job prospects. Also he has a BTEC diploma in dental technology but this is not on the approved list, does anyone know if this qualification would be recognised. Many thanks in advance for any help or advice you can give.

You may want to check out this website:

http://www.kiwicareers.govt.nz/

Click on the 'Industries' link and find your industry type. In there it gives you all sorts of information about the job you want, the type of salary to expect and a host of other stats.

Thanks for the welcome Mother Bear and Pulsarblu.I'll probably be here for a while as my friend has no easy access to the web so I am doing his factfinding on NZ for him, although the more I look I wonder if I am also doing it in my own interest !!!
