    Default U2 cancelling gigs

Hope James isn't too gutted after pacific gigs being cancelled. Dare say they'll be back shortly, sounds like oine of the band's family members is ill. Not like U2 to do that tho.

I heard Jack Johnson was planning some tour dates in the region tho for something a tad more chilled hehe. Big difference tho.

At least you'll have ME when I arrive I'll do plently of shows :icon_mrgreen: :icon_cool:

Apparently, one of the band's daughter is suffering from leukemia. Think he should take as long as is necessary.

How sad! I knew a family with a teenage daughter who had leukemia. It was very upsetting. No wonder he wanted to return home.

:icon_mrgreen: So are you more familiar with groups like Beach Boys, singer like Frank Sinatra? Actually I like U2, irish band...well you know.....

Being older now, I prefer classical and such... :icon_lol:

Yeah, this was bad news for me, as I was going in Auckland.

It sounds like maybe it's been delayed to November, I'm getting different reports now and then.

I delayed my trip back to NZ for a week, as I like it here in Melbourne and the Commonwealth games are starting this week. And I think I may have "met somebody" if you know what I mean.

Years from now I may have to blame U2 for changing my plans (if in fact my plans eventually change and I end up in Aussie for an extended period of time).
