NZIS On-line system - anybody used it much?

We submitted our EOI online, to save money obviously & for convienience. I logged on today and saw that our ITA is regsitered and logged in our "Whats happening?" section.

Can anybody tell me how far this goes? Do they notify you online when you have been granted residency etc? I hope they do as it will save us scaring the postman as we grab our post off him in anticipation in the near future!

My understanding is that the online system will tell you when your EOI is submitted, selected, decision successful (meaning ITA is on the way soon), then when you send back the ITA is says something like ITA received, but I've heard it stops there and does not say anything more until you get to NZ and validate your visa. Kind of a disappointment that it can't say PR granted or the like.

Just checked again, its now telling me that our full medical certificates have been logged on the system. Lets hope it keeps me informed to this level of detail!

my police checks are supposed to be arriving today.. (thats 52 days by the way since submission as a guideline for those about to do the same)

If (and it seems like a big if) then Sylvie will be getting all the certified copies sorted and posting it this afternoon..

Still a whole load of things that can (and probably will go wrong) but some days I wondered if we'd ever get this far....

Not funny at all really, when you think about it..

That is exactly what we are waiting for. I can't believe I'm still checking every day just in case it changes to 'blue stickers attached to passports and on their way back to you'!!

I did read about your problems with your documents getting lost! What a start eh?!
