Husband has an illness controlled by med's, will NZ have us?

Hi all
My husband has Wegners, an incurable illness controlled by long term meds.
He is a skilled worker and we have one child aged 6.
we are both under 55
Will NZ have us?

I think what NZ is concerned about is whether your husband would ?be a drain? on their health resources i.e. will need a lot of medical/hospital care. Their other concern is that his condition may be contagious or a potential threat to NZ citizens. It would appear, from what you say, that he is controlling his illness with medication alone, so I doubt that would worry the authorities or interfere with any application you make unless, of course, it would cause medical problems in the future.
