Default How can I invite a friend over to New Zealand?

[b:8e245b60f4]
I am a New Zealand Citizen.
I have a NZ Passport.

[color=red:8e245b60f4]QUESTION:[/color:8e245b60f4]
I would like to invite a good friend from Russia over to New Zealand to stay with me for about 3 months.

Is it possible?
How can I do it?
Where do I physically go for information/application?

Any help is trully appreciated :)[/b:8e245b60f4]

Kind Regards,
Vladimir

Hi,

Your friend would just need to get a visitors visa!

The application for this is available from their nearest New Zealand Immigration/ Embassy office.

Three months is the standard Visitors Permit, so that should be fine. Doesn't matter what reason they are coming over (to see a NZ citizen or to just see a Kiwi in a zoo).

It differs for each country. I don't think Russia has any restrictions (having met a few here).

Go ahead and ask your friend to approach the NZ immigration service in Russia and get a visitor visa.
