Wages are lower in NZ than in the UK on a ? to $ basis, but the cost of living is cheaper. Have a nose through a few job sites like www.seek.co.nz or www.netck.co.nz or www.jobstuff.co.nz and see whats going in your field of employment. Most ads dont have salaries, but you will find some with salary figures on a "between basis" ie from $40,000 to $55,000 "depending". So take the lower figure as more realistic!

My main concern is that working 5 days a week will heavily compromise my leisure time, and it will be a struggle to fit all the enjoyment & freedom of NZ's lifestyle into 2 days a week.

Thanks for ur reply! we are used to it here not having enough leasure time, find ourselves working just to survive! not to enjoy ourselves! but im sure living in NZ is brilliant!! then again im a busy mum so i dont have time to even work! :icon_wink:
