What's the order in which things go particularly with WHVs is it Received>Pending>Granted or what?

Also how do you submit Medical stuff with online applications?

Just pondering the whole process to myself.

also, do you have to have the ITA paperwork to be able to go for the medicals..

I seem to remember there are some health forms that can be downloaded from t'internet..

Are these ones okay to take to a panel doctor for use in the medicals?

You need to download the latest forms from the Immigration NZ website. The doctor will work through these forms as he conducts the medical. You will also need the forms for the Chest X-Rays. Please also be aware that you will need two up to date photographs of all applicants, one each for the Medical & X-Ray forms (this is in addition to the two photographs each you will need for the ITA itself).

You also need to complete part of the medical forms before you attend the medical itself. The form number is 1007, and the latest revision is August 2005 (used for medicals from 28/11/05 onwards).

The application for WHV is Received>> Yay or Nay.

There is no medical information to submit, so you dont have to worry there :icon_biggrin:

Eh? Mine says 'pending'

I ticked wrong box and put 23 months instead of 12 so need medical. Rand them today tho, so I just need to fax over my details and change it to 12 months and they'll do so.

Yours probably says pending due to the medicals. Did you apply online or something? Mine was a paper application so I just got a letter of receipt and then my passport back with the visa!

Yeah did it online. Spoke to Auckland NZIS which was weird, actually speaking to a real kiwi about a real thing. I mean I've spoken to Kiwis about NZ but not about something that affects me hehe.

Does anyone know if that general 'outside of NZ number' is a crazy rate or is it just international rates. It didn't mention anything about it on the contact us page or the pre-recorded message. Yet I'm sure one numbers like 1.50/min

I think the advertised number is a normal international call, as if I remember rightly its just an Auckland phone number.
