Christmas in Taupo anyone?

Hi guys,

A bit of a wild shot, but does anyone fancy a trip to Taupo for Christmas? Only we booked a bach up there from 23rd December ? 28th December, and paid the deposit, but we can?t make it now, so before I cancel and lose my deposit, I just wondered if anyone fancied going instead of us? It?s $100 a night and it?s booked for 5 nights, got 2 bedrooms (1 queen and the other with 2 singles), deck, BBQ, 10 mins walk from the lake and town centre, and you can have a look at it here if you?re interested:

Thanks Mother Bear - I hope so too! We were relly looking forward to going up there, but the car has just died (the head gasket and radiator has gone - an expensive job to repair :icon_rolleyes: ) so we've got to give it a miss. Hopefully we'll make it next year tho! ::):
