    Default Transporting goods and storage

    Can anyone help with this.
We need to send a crate with warmer clothing and bits and bobs over to Christchurch next year from London.
As we are back packing for four months from May around various countries before the serious work begins in our planned home in New Zealand.

We will not have much but need a company that can ship for us and then store in Christchurch for when we arrive.

We are planning now as time is getting near. :icon_biggrin:

Two companies that I am aware of are Bargate and PSS.

You might need other forum members to confirm this, but I don't think you can ship anything to NZ if you are not there when it arrives.

    Default thanks

I'm not sure how long it would take to ship.
The problem is we are not sure when we will arrive.
I suppose if I checked this out for I could crate and store here and arrange shipment later from wherever to coincide with our arrival.

Shipping takes around 6 weeks to NZ, plus around another week to clear through NZ customs.

Usually the company who receives your shipment will store your property for you, but make sure you pre-arrange it else you will be landed with some hefty storage fees.

The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one.
