Default How's India for a visit?

I was wondering about which airlines would be good. Also, would it be a good idea to visit India enroute for a couple of weeks? Anybody's been there? Or perhaps Singapore?

Here's a link I posted a while ago, which gives people's opinions of the various airlines and also their star ranking. Just select 'Airlines' at the top.

Moved as requested. (yey some moderating, I FEEL MIGHTY)

Yeah Singapore Airlines seem to have good reviews, anoth option could be Air Malaysia, they also score highly in consumer reviews and have had a few recommendations from people on this site.

I always fancied having a short stay in Kuala Lumpar en route.

Steady, Stevey. Remember you're not quite well yet. Conserve your strength.

I believe Taffy and Welshgirl flew with Singapore.

Yes Stevey, we flew with Singapore Airlines recently. They did c*ck up our daughters in-flight meal, but other than that, I was very pleased with them. When I first came to NZ last year, I flew with Air New Zealand. Service and flight were fine but I wasn't impressed with going through LAX.

To the best of my recollection, Sara and Ian flew with Malaysian Airlines and I think they were happy with them too.
