I can't get that link to show anything other than what it did to begin with ie. 2002 results. Am I doing something wrong?

Talk about a close finish. Bet National's feeling that all their efforts are about to slip through their fingers, especially after having a healthy start. Still a way to go yet though. :icon_eek: icon_exclaim.gif

97% counted, Labour lead with a 1% margin.. it'll be another 10 days before a final government is announced though, but it certainly looks like another 3 years with Labour in power.....

Is it safe to go and have my shower now? Surely nothing dramatic could happen while I'm away from the computer? [img:89d04da815]http://www.clicksmilies.com/s0105/spezial/Fool/bath.gif[/img:89d04da815]

Here's a nice pic of the election progress taken from TV ONE (Copyright TV1 of course!):

Just to explain the party names in the coloured boxes:

LAB - Labour
NAT - National
NZF - New Zealand First
GRN - Greens
MRI - Maori
UNF - United Future
ACT - Act
PRG - Progressive Party

Very tight run race there. Well done Sian, hope you can plan ahead now. Many thanks to Taffy for the blow by blow account. I think I'm pleased with the outcome, but not quite up to speed with who's offering what yet, as it kept changing along the way. Time will tell.

Sorry had to go out to the bank before they closed (just made it).
Don't know what the problem is with the link Mother Bear, I've been watching it updating all the way through sorry it didn't work for you. Well it couldn't have been a much closer finish could it - but does this deffo mean a Labour govt. or are there any other votes to be counted/recounted I wonder, I suppose we'll just have to wait n see, don't think my nerves can stand much more though after this! ::):

Thanks for the pics Taffy quite a turnaround wasn't it? Ido think though that Don Brash looks like a man who knows he's just lost!
