Can anyone tell me whether I will need something like this even though I have lived in England my whole life - 22?

I believe it gives you extra points and if so maybe it is a god idea

Thanks skybluearmy,

Only thing is on the EOI there is a section about English speaking. Which box do I tick so that I don't have to prove anything?

Hi again

I posted another question under the heading of sponsorship regarding my current occupation. I am a Prison Officer currently at Wormwood Scrubs and Mother Bear has informed me that you are a Prison Officer also and have a job offer. How did you go about getting one? :icon_biggrin:

Hi Fi welcome to the land of plenty ::):
i started on this process last year after getting in touch with the corrections dept. I put my application in last year but they wanted me to wait until they were running their uk recruitment process this year. We went to a seminar in Henley in march and then the ball started rolling for us. We are just about to submit our ITA so everything is all but done. My job starts in Jan 2006 in Auckland prison.
Anyway enough waffling, i am led to believe that the corrections dept will be doing another UK recruitment campaign next April and they are taking the names of those that are interested now. I will be away for a week in France from tomorrow but will give you the contact details of the person that you need to E-mail if you PM me with your contact details.
If there is anymore that i can do to help just let me know :icon_rolleyes:

Just to update you on whats happened in the last few days. I have been e-mailed by two different admin officers asking me to complete phsycometric tests and application forms which I have done and sent back. Wooooooooot!!!! :026:
