    Default TAKING TOO LONG

    Hi im Ruwi
my boyfriend was an international student and got his degree in NZ, then had to leave NZ because he coudnt get a job, as at that time they didnt give students a work permit after graduation. He moved to singapore. Now he has applied to come here as a skilled migrant. He got enough points and was selected straight away. He was told that they will process his application and get back to him in 2 to 4 weeks and it has been 4 months!! when he rang and ask whats happening they said it was still in processing.

Does anyone know why it's taking so long?? Is it normal for it to take this long?

your advice would be greatly appreciated
    thanks!!

    Default TAKING TOO LONG

    Hi Ruwi,

Is it his ITA that they are processing now? If so, it is usual for it to take up to 4 months if he has a job offer, or longer without!

The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one.

    hi Taffy

    thanks for the reply
No it's not the ITA, he was selected from the pool and it is still at the verification stage. They have not sent an ITA back or a rejection either.
He was selected from the pool in April.

    Hi Ruwi,

not sure if your boyfriend have recieved the ITA. Just to share. I submitted my EOI in Apr 2005 and selected end of Apr. I waited for 5 months plus in Oct 3 2005 before I was told I am invited to apply (ITA). However, I do not have a job offer so that may explain for the long wait.
