Small Business money requirement

Hi...I am trying to find out how much money is required, should I want to move to NZ and relocate a successful small business I have had for about 10 years in the US. Also, my husband is interested in buying a franchise business for sale in NZ. Any help you might give is appreciated. I can't seem to find this amount anywhere and just hoping it's not the same as the amount indicated for and investor.

The amount you need isnt published anywhere as there is no fixed amount. As long as you can buy the business, and have a suitable amount of money to keep you going for 2 years, then they are happy.

As a guess, I expect $60,000 to cover 2 years would be a great position to be in, but the actual amount required could be a great deal less.

To get PR as an entrepreneur, I believe you need to demonstrate that you have some business experience, It seems similar to what a lender might want in order to grant you a business loan.

But if you're going in under the skilled category, and then opening a business, it's out of NZIS's jurisdiction after you complete their requirements (I think).
