Christmas get-together!!!!!

Just an idea folks, a tad early I know but how many of you would fancy a 'MoveToNZ' get-together to celebrate Christmas 2005?..... We thought something like a beach BBQ some time in December might be in order, but thought we'd just test the water (so to speak!) first, to see how many would be interested.....
I appreciate some of you aren't in NZ yet, but will be by Christmas, and that we have members from all over the North and South Islands, but with plenty of notice to prepare and the promise of a good party, we might get a few people up for it!.... It'd give us a chance to put faces to names from the forum too :icon_wink:
Anyway, here's a poll to get an idea of numbers - vote away!

We are up for it welshgirl, if Ian hasn't got a job by then we are coming on a visit anyway. Christmas in NZ sounds good to me!

we're definetely up for a good party. We'll be in Auckland at Xmas, but can arrange to meet up somewhere more central if needed. I would need a bit of warning though, because of my shift work, and babies don't stop coming over the holiday season.

I was also thinking is it for grown-ups only, or for the whole family, as the kids might like to meet up aswell.

I definetely say yes to a good party though, and being scottish hope there might be a good hogmanay party somewhere.

I'm over at christmas, for a holiday, can't wait, even though i can't actually move for 3 years due to being in the forces. but it'll be nice to meet people. grat idea
