Hi there,

Are there any particular websites you have used to research the areas that you are interested in moving to? I'm in Rural Tourism and therefore looking for relevant areas. The hublet is in Retail Management so will be pretty flexible on area.

Cheers for the help.

HFW

Yes, yes, yes. Pretty much anything and everything. Google is great but you get so many hits you dont know where to start. I just wondered if there were sites people found useful when researching themselves.

Cheers, HFW

If you want to take a look at properties in different areas and their prices i've found open2view.com really good. I know Taffy knows some good sites and you may find them if you read through the threads. Might take a few hours though :icon_biggrin:

www.realenz.co.nz shows the properties for sale or rent of all agents in the area you are looking at.

www.stats.govt.nz gives statistics of different areas.

www.weatherbase.com is my favourite site for weather tables.

www.ero.govt.nz for government school reports.

Most areas have tourist sites, or town newsletters. Other than that I rely on www.nzherald.co.nz, the local newspapers www.stuff.co.nz and my NZ travel guide books.
