Immigration costs

I have just checked on the NZ Immigrations service site for how much it costs to imigrate. They have quoted me as a residence skilled migrant for ?520. Is this all the costs involved for the paper work to become a resident. I appreciate there may be some search fees (Police, medical, Education etc) Or will there be more costs involved other than obviously the moving costs. Many Thanks Moley :icon_biggrin:

Hi ,
Other fees that you have to pay include;
Approx ?124.00 for EOI
There is a Migrant Levy to pay if you are successful and are granted residence, this amount depends upon how many people are in your application.....i think it is ?115.00 each.
We had our medicals last week, for the four of us in my family it cost us ?808.00 for x-rays and medicals.
Police certs are cheap at ?10.00 each for everyone over 17yrs old.
At the end of the day I feel that yes it is expensive....but I would be prepared to have paid whatever the cost as I want this so much. It is well worth what you can gain at the end....... :icon_mrgreen: :icon_razz: :icon_mrgreen:
