Medical and Dental Records
Hi all,
can anyone tell me if they took their medical and dental records to NZ from the UK. NZIS booklet about "things to do before you leave for NZ" recommends that you bring your records with you. However, after calling my dentist and GP, both have said that I can't take the originals, and can only get copies that I have to pay for. Also, any copies must be certified, which means even more money!!! Anyone got any answers? Cheers Midder | |||

Hi,
We didnt, but should have for our daughter! We havent needed ours, but our daughters school wants proof of immunisations etc, so it's important to at least get your hands on any childrens medical records. Unless you've had anything seriously wrong in the past thought, I wouldnt worry too much about them. Your GP doesnt need them to register you, and you will just be started on new records here. | |||
