Default Is there a demand for Dance and Drama for kids?

Hey y'all, over here in UK, I am a performing arts tutor. I have my own little theatre company teaching fee-paying students drama, dance and voice. Kids are from 4 - 18 years. Anything like this in NZ? I start up street-dance classes and jazz classes all the time over here because all the kids want to learn to move and it's a great way for adults to stay fit too. Would I be able to do anything like this in NZ? I also work with youth services and education as freelance artist and have experience of working with the Royal Shakespeare Company in education. I have found very little info about this type of thing. Can anyone help? This is my first posting!!!! :icon_rolleyes:

Hi Dawn,

Welcome to the forum! There are plenty of dance centres around, it would seem its a popular thing here. Our friends daughter attends a dance class similar to the one you mentioned.

So yes, I'm sure you'll be fine!

Default Drama and singing

Thanks for your reply Taffy it's nice to know someone is reading and that I'm not just sending a message out into the wide blue yonder. Dance is only a part of what I do, any idea on whether drama and singing is as popular, I teach these as well.
Ta love xx
