NZQA

Hi to all, i am in process of applying for my NZQA assesment ,my trade is fitter i have experince of 9 years of which 5 years in my current job ,4 years with my previous employer . i have all details of my current job but i dont have my ex employ details as it was misplaced.i dont know what to do is it ok for NZQA if i give only my current job details . my ex employer at present has closed the company. any one please adviceme, your advice is appriciated.thanks

I didnt realise NZQA required proof of any work history? NZQA assess your qualifications, not your experience?

Can anyone else shine a light on this one?

We also had to provide work history for my husband's qualification - maybe it's a new thing?!

If you dont have it, then tell them.. If you explain that the company you worked for has since closed, then there isnt much they can do about it!

Of course, if you have any scrap of evidence that you used to work for them, or could at least give details of where they USED to be, that would help. After all, you must remember where they were if you worked there for 4 years!

I had to send references from all my teaching jobs including whether I worked part/full time and the responsibilities I had.
