Are you going straight from WHV to RA then now mate? Are you hoping for the whole process to take less than 3 months or are you just gonna carry on working regardless of the 3 month 'limit' which I can't see how they can police.

Still getting the work visas in the mean time. Need them so our daughter can start school!

I'm not sure how they police who you've been working for, or how long, but i'm sure they can find out through tax records if they really wanted!

Hmmm just thought that maybe if you get a job with WHV and as soon as Job is offered you submit EOI, that would probably take around 4 months leaving you having to work and extra month illigeally (technically). Don't wanna get a bad record before I even start but would save the hassle of submitting work visa application etc. What do you think. BTW did you're employer have to get approved to recruit from oversees when he employed you or are you on the SSL?

Hi,
He has to fill in an employers supplementary form, but not a request for approval as I'm already employed by him. There are some conditions, such as the job being advertised and them stating why they chose you over a kiwi, but thats about the extent of it.
