hellooooo! Hoping our application to move to nz is accepted, what is the length of time you are given to sell up & get out there???? Have been looking on sites today to check the price of nz houses in comparison with uk ones - not much difference. Though wages in nz seem pretty low compared to here! What do you think? Is nz an expensive place to live? Thanks to all in advance :icon_razz:

If you're finding houses with comparable prices to the UK, then you must be looking at somewhere like Auckland! Most of New Zealand is a lot cheaper, or you certainly get much more for your money.

You have 12 months to enter New Zealand once your visa has been granted.

Hmmm, in England I own a tiny 2 up 2 down red-brick semi...mortgage 92k for the same money in Christchurch outskirts I could have a 4 bedroom detached house. Central North Island would be better again probably. Check realenz.co.nz you'll be pleasantly surprised I reckon.
