Default desperately need advise

help!! my eoi was successful and sent off my ita last week. im a hairdresser for the past 16 years but have been working from home since 98 and can only prove sixish years official experience, although my officer did ask me to submit a letter from my product supplier stating that ive been supplied with products since 98 to date to facilitate my home business.i made the 100 points but now do you think i may fail the whole thing because i cant prove the minimum 8 years experience! all the rest of the application are fine, and i have a permanant good senior stylists job offer in a busy salon chain in aukland , ready for whenever we....husband and 3 children , arrive. are the immigration officers assigned to each case very very rigid, or is there a bit of leeway and could she push it through for me, she does seem terribly nice, she said id know in a week as she knows how desperate we are and have a great offer on our house and need to start selling cars etc, and will i be notified by phone or post, the waiting is a nightmare, can please anyone help before i turn into a complete alcoholic! i dont want to ring my case officer and annoy her , but if it was a no do you think id have heard by now!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks for taking the time to trawl through this, right now each day is like a month just waiting.

Default sorry i cant help but...

I read your post and I really feel for you in your situation..

I HOPE its good news.. be sure to let us know when you do find out.

You would hope that the information your supplier has given would be proof enough.

Have you got any customers that have been coming to you all the time you've worked from home that could give you a reference...?? just a thought.

Good Luck, I hope its good news when it comes..

Default help once more!

thanks for reply,
unfortunately i cant supply tax returns as i wasnt declaring income, all i have is a letter from my product supplier stating that i have been steadily supplied with products from 98 to date, do you think this will state, nice and all as my case officer seems, she still keeps saying there is no leeway on proveable work experience. thanks again for reply, the people on this forum are most helpful.

If she asked for this letter from your supplier as evidence, and she is your case worker, i can't see how she could say it wasnt good enough! Of course, should this be the case, they would probably accept statements from customers, or even bank statements if you had a business account.

I'm sure you'll be fine :icon_wink:
