Default Self Employment for Partner
Hi,
Can anyone answer this one. If I am applying under the "Skilled Migrant Visa", but my wife wants to open her own childcare business, does that give us any points or not. I seem to be asking alot of questions lately so I apologise for monopolising.

Hi,
If your wife wants to start her own business, this would not give you any extra points as there would be no proof of her intentions. Points are only granted if you have a firm offer of skilled employment.
